During the season 21 finale of The bachelorettewe would have said The Bachelor alum Jen Tran she finally had a happy ending with her final choice Devin Strader. But Jenn, 26, revealed the After the Final Rose in September, Devin, 28, gave her the cold shoulder as soon as the cameras stopped rolling.
“He would make bold declarations of love and then suddenly the next day he was nothing and he denied he was ever in love,” Jenn told host Jesse Palmer on the September 3 episode. “All the promises he had made to me, all the love he had wanted to give me were no longer there.”
The drama continued to play out when Devin shared a 13-minute video telling his side of the story on Instagram, where in addition to taking “responsibility,” he explained why he ended the relationship during a 15 minute phone call.
While Jenn claimed he abandoned her during the call in August, he claimed Jenn demanded to know what was wrong while he tried to find a way to break the news in person.
“I didn’t really know what else to do,” he explained, noting that he was waiting to tell her in person. “She kind of forced my hand.”
Since then, Jenn has been waltzing towards Dancing with the stars and possibly in the heart of his partner Sasha Farber as they have continued to spark romance rumors since their elimination on October 29.
