And while news crews and first responders have been on the front lines of the deadly fires, even celebrities have stepped in to help. Indeed, Saturday evening live alum Bill Hader surprised one of his local news crews while they were covering the aftermath of the fires.
“A resident trying to gain access approached the news van as if he was part of our team, he wanted to help cover and ride with us,” ABC7 journalist Josh Haskell wrote in an article onformerly Twitter) January 10. “Then he pulled down his mask, smiled and it was Bill Hader!”
