The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was more dramatic than usual—thanks Kyle Richards.
“I'll say something and then leave. I don't know how it all went so wrong,” Kyle, 56, told her RHOBA castmates during the Tuesday, January 21 episode. “I can't do this anymore. I really can't. I'm trying to be in a good place in my life. I want to say one thing and then I'm leaving.
Kyle's breakdown happened when the newcomer St. John of Bozom received women at her house for a get-well party. Questions about texting Kyle Dorrit Kemsleyestranged husband PK Kemsleyappeared again.
“I'm going to leave. Please, okay. I love you and PK and your kids and you know it. I know you know it,” Kyle told Dorit directly. “I feel like I've done something wrong – I sent a text message to PK. So I said I would read this once and that was it.
Kyle claimed the report was made to seem like “maybe it was something weird.”
Last week RHOBA portrayed by Kyle reading the elusive message she sent to PK for him and Dorita announced the divorce in May 2024.
“I know you have a lot of friends, but I'm also alone and here if you need me. I have never repeated anything you have shared with me and never will. (It means you can always trust me),” the message read. “Let's keep sending memes and I won't forget the laughing emoticons.”
Kyle read it again during Tuesday's episode, and this time Dorit heard the message.
The line “never happened again” was necessary most of the explanation from Kylewhich she seemed to give.
“I don't care about you,” she said, gesturing to Dorita. “I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about, well, what I can't say because we're filming and producing.
Kyle continued to raise her voice, adding: “That's all I said. I'm done now. I'm not going to be made to feel like I did something wrong,” Kyle said through tears in the clip before speaking directly to Dorit. “I love you and your family. F— everyone, I'm done with this s—. I don't do that anymore. “
Garcel Beauvais made it clear that she didn't believe Kyle.
“I don't see what her conversations with PK have to do with production,” she said in the confessional. “If you're having a private conversation with someone and you want to say, 'I'm never going to share what we talked about.' … You would write with production. And she didn't. “
The fourth wall was broken at various times throughout the episode. Not only both RHOBA stars direct reference to the production, but cameramen were seen while Kyle stormed out of Bozom's house. (Kyle above addressed a walk outside the set during an interview with Us Weekly published November 2024.)
“Everyone has bigger f—ing problems and yet this is all they can focus on,” Kyle said through tears. “I mean literally, look at all of us. Our age and what are we doing? Dealing with this stupidity every day. Honestly, everyone should be ashamed of themselves. Seriously.”
Eventually, Dorit and Kyle sat down for a one-on-one talk.
“When you write things like, 'You know I would never share anything.' That's not right,” Dorita said. “You would never say that on camera.”
Kayla reiterated that she was not referring to anything said about Dorit. She doubled down on that in her confessional, but Dorit had other feelings.
Elsewhere in the episode, Dorit went for a spa treatment with Erica Jane where they discussed what happened.
“I know what the text says, I know what the text means. I know what Kyle is trying to say it means, but I think it's a very big payoff,” Dorrit claimed. “When she said, 'I'll never repeat what we're talking about.' Or I never repeat what we talk about. It is, plain and simple, about me. For nothing else.”
Erica disagreed with Dorit's take on the situation.
“It's assumed to be you, but you certainly don't know,” Erica stated. “I'm not going to make assumptions.”
