“I've seen the comments from all of you asking why I haven't talked about this,” Scheana started by addressing fan questions. “First of all, I want to say that I respected Ally privacy as she requested and I didn't want to add any headlines as she is going through enough right now.
Scheana explained that while her initial instinct was to keep quiet, she eventually decided it was important to address the situation. “I didn't want people to think I was condoning James' behavior by keeping quiet,” she said.
“Sometimes I feel like it's a lose-lose — if I say something, I get regret for it. If I don't say something, I get regret for it. But this is a serious topic, so I have to say something.
Paying particular attention to the topic, Scheana prepared a statement to make sure she got her message across accurately. “I want to keep the line of communication and support open Ally,” she said.
“I don't want to say something that puts her in a position where she has to choose between a friendship or a relationship. I just want her to know that she is supported.
