Shannon Beador denies involvement with Alexis Bellino's 'RHOC' exit

Shannon Beador's disclaimer comes months after she admitted she had a tough time filming the show's 18th season and cast doubt on her foreseeable future at the network.

The 60-year-old was quick to push back against the growing narrative of her alleged involvement in Beljon's ouster from the highly-acclaimed reality TV show. Beador explained:

“I have no power on the network or production or anyone, and I would never want to interfere with someone's livelihood. But Alexis Bellino is a TV star, and she's been a TV star for 15 years, so I'm sure she'll get a new gig very soon.

Bellino had previously hinted to the public that she might not appear in the new season last December. She had previously appeared on the show from seasons 5 to 8 and returned for season 18 in 2024.

The 48-year-old explained that she “wasn't asked to come back next season” when she appeared on the Going Rogue podcast. She explained that the decision was not a shock, but it was a difficult conversation.

“I don't think I was really prepared because I didn't think the contracts were going to go through because I thought we had more time … so it was a shock when they called, but I was never shocked by the information,” Bellino said. her interview with US Weekly Let's help out at the LA fundraiser she organized.

Despite her now-confirmed absence for the new season, Bellino's appearance last season provided raw drama and entertainment, and it had a lot to do with Beador and a certain third party.

The Bravo star reportedly offered to pay her ex half the amount, but things took a turn for the worse after she found out he was keeping visual evidence from her September 2023 arrest. The estranged couple reportedly settled out of court in November for $60,000.

Beador said the days of drama are behind her as she spent a lot of time “over the holidays reflecting” on where she was last year.

“I was in a place where I just saw John make a promise to Alexis on social media, and I didn't know who was coming back to the show. I didn't know if I had a friend. show,” the 60-year-old emphasized, explaining her complicated relationship with Bellino.

The reality TV star admitted that it was difficult for her because the whole process felt like an obstacle she couldn't get past, but she found a way to get out and find herself in a really great place.

“I'm so grateful to the people close to me who have supported me and the fans who have supported me,” Beador shared, adding that she's still working on becoming a better person.

Beador also puts his time to good use and spends it supporting the victims of the devastating fire. The star, along with his costar Katie Ginnella, organized a charity bungalow in honor of the emergency network in LA to raise funds for those who lost their possessions as a result of the incident.

She shared that she would not have escaped the fire if she had lived in Los Angeles because Pacific Palisades would have been her preferred location. Unfortunately, three of her closest friends couldn't say the same because they lost their homes in the fire.

On how she and Ginella decided to hold the fundraiser, the reality star said, “When I was on the flight to New York, Katie texted me and said, 'Would you be interested in doing a fundraiser for everything that's going on in LA?' ' and I said, 'Absolutely.'

Beador expressed sadness at the number of people who lost their homes “in Pasadena and Altadena,” noting that “people need money, and that's what we wanted to do tonight.”

The TV personality went through a series of tough times while filming Season 18, including a DUI arrest and a difficult breakup with Janssen shortly before filming began.

“What matters is what I think. I hope they like the show… I hope people say, 'Okay, she's working on herself, so good for her,' but I don't need a pat on the back. I don't need sympathy, ” Biedor concluded.
