“We were out of town and he looked at you and said, 'Oh, I love you so much.' Ysabel said. “Like, just honest and clean. And I've never heard someone tell you “I love you” so much.

Christine Brown smiled Ysabel's kind words, but her daughter shared a more nuanced perspective in her confession.

“When David I proposed to my mom for the first time, I thought it would be very soon. I thought it was too soon,” Ysabel admitted. “But I think I've had time to adjust to it.”

Christine relationship with David came after her spiritual marriage with Cody Brown ended after more than 25 years. The two announced their divorce in November 2021, and Kody's relationship with Janelle Brown and Mary Brown disbanded shortly thereafter. Cody remains legally married Robin Brown.

After her divorce from Cody, Christine went out in society with David in February 2023, and the couple got engaged two months later. They exchanged vows in October 2023 in a ceremony in which Christine described as a dream come true.

When the time came Christine she was escorted down the aisle by her son Pedon. Reflecting on the moment, Christine shared a confession: “I said to him, 'Should I be nervous?' I'm not even nervous. And then we started walking and I just looked at David and it's like, 'There's my heart. “

Paedon, visibly emotional, walked by his mom's side as he expressed his approval of her new husband. “He's a really good person,” Pedon said Christine before handing her over to Father Rex who walked her the rest of the way to the altar.

Ysabel celebrates her mom's happiness

How Christine the wedding ceremony took place in Utah, Ysabel described how her initial reservations have faded over time. Watching her mom find happiness with David opened up a new perspective on their relationship.

“It's given me a lot more clarity, like how much they love each other,” Ysabel said. “I'm excited and happy for them.”

She added: “I think I've had time to get to know David and get to know him, like, as a father and someone who's just a great guy. Now I couldn't imagine life without him.

“For the first time in a long time, it felt like the real Brown family was back,” said Gabe, Jenelles a son whose relationship with Cody has been strained in recent years.

Even Cody balanced Christine a new chapter, expressing mixed emotions but ultimately showing support for his ex-wife's happiness. “Really, where I am is Christine happy and it's great,” he shared, though he did admit to feeling “FOMO” about missing out on the wedding day.
