Skeleton Crew Episode 7 Sherlock Holmes Reunion Explained

This article contains spoilers for “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,” episode 7, “We're Gonna Be In So Much Trouble.”

“Skeleton Crew” has been the refreshing, wonderfully family-friendly gift that keeps on giving, and this week was no exception. After paying respects to the likes of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “The Goonies” Last week's episode 7, titled “We're So Much Trouble,” revealed another treasure hidden through a thrilling episode of “Sherlock Holmes.”

When the show's young characters and Jod (Jude Law) end up back in At-Attin, their parents are briefly held. security droids before they and the rest of the natives of the planet are notified. The voice belongs to the unseen “Supervisor”, the supposed head of the At-Attina Mint's backup operation. He's polite, direct and charmingly British – and exactly what you'd expect from none other than comedian, writer and actor Stephen Fry.

For avid listeners of the show, Fry's voice is unmistakable and has already been applied to stories as massive as those beloved by many that have taken place in the “Star Wars” universe. Before the “Skeleton Crew” you could hear the actor's elegant composition talking about the “Harry Potter” audiobooks, as well as reunion special for the Harry Potter films. and the 2005 film adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Coincidentally, in 2011, Fry starred opposite Jude Law, the slightly more forgotten Holmes brother Mycroft, in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. The only question is whether these two will have an on-screen reunion before “Skeleton Crew” ends.

Could Stephen Fry's Warden put an end to Jodh Skeleton Crew?

While Jod may have finally found the treasure he's been searching for for so long, there's a chance that the warden who manages the Athen Mint reserve will have something to say about it. It would be a great little treat as the show nears its inevitable conclusion if former “Sherlock Holmes” stars Fry and Lowe were to appear on screen together again, this time with the former as a glorified bank manager in a galaxy far, far away. . Also, considering that this series even involves a talent like Fry, there's a chance that there's more to this warden than we know.

For a story that spent so long searching for the treasure of Tak Rennod, the legendary pirate would finally appear in “Skeleton Crew” as someone else. What if, in a Wizard of Oz -inspired twist, the mysterious warden turned out to be Rennod all along, and he was just hoarding his piracy days to live more simply, making his own gold instead? It would be great to see Fry come out of a huge pile of credits and admit that “Yo ho, yo ho, the pirate life wasn't for me after all.” If so, we just hope Tak doesn't fly off the lightsaber hilt and end up a Sith Lord in our beloved “Skeleton Crew.” Seriously, if even a hair falls on our guy Neal's head, we're going to go into Wookiee rage mode.

The Season 1 finale of Star Wars: The Skeleton Squad will take place on January 14, 2025 at 6pm PST on Disney+.
