Well, here we go again with Donald Trump as president in a seemingly impossible feat by the convicted felon who returned to power in front of political cronies, mega-rich fools and kissing attendees at its crazy inauguration where Kim K, Nelly, Elon Musk, Pastor Lorenzo Sewell and many others went viral.

Moments after being sworn in, Trump signed a series of executive orders that, not surprisingly, targeted marginalized groups in the country. yet another reminding us that he is probably not the best person to lead the country.

Aside from Trump's dangerous antics and Melania's dodged kiss, social media erupted over Nelly saying he was “honored” to have been invited by Donald Trump to perform at the inauguration.

In an interview with CBS News White House reporter Willie James Inman, a St. Louis native thanked Trump for inviting the new administration to perform on stage.

“You know, I feel honored to be here tonight. Again, my performance is definitely for the office. I feel honored to be asked, and yeah, man, I'm here to have a good time,” Nelly said while speaking to the reporter at the Liberty Ball.

The “Country Grammar” singer insisted politics played no role in his decision when he agreed to perform at the inauguration.

“It’s not political for me. For me, the political part is over. He won. And, you know, growing up, I was taught to respect the office,” he said. ABC News journalist Kyra Phillips during an interview Monday.

While it seemed obvious that Nelly did it for the bag, he says it wasn't about the money at all. Mmmmmk.

“I don’t do this for the money. I do this because it's an honor. I respect the office. It doesn’t matter who is in power,” he said in a previous interview with Willie D. “The same way our brothers and sisters go to war to risk their lives for whoever is in power. So if they can risk their lives for whoever is in power, I can certainly perform for whoever is in power.

No stranger to carefully curated controversies, Kim K. was the next big thing after seemingly declaring her allegiance to Trump by sharing a photo of Melania's fashion statement from the inauguration.

If it was attention she wanted, she managed to go viral and immediately get trolled before Elon Musk showed up and stole the show with his questionable arm movement that looked almost exactly like a Nazi salute .

Naturally, Musk refuted claims that his hand gestures were a nod to the Nazis and, in an eyebrow-raising twist, the Anti-Defamation League defended Musk against the critics.
