Socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein's Cause of Death Revealed

More details on Jocelyn Wildenstein's death has come to light.

The Swiss socialite, known for her cosmetically enhanced cat look, died hours before her longtime partner's New Year's celebration. Lloyd Klein confirmed.

“We had a great happy hour that night,” Lloyd said. People in an interview published on January 1. “We were getting ready for the new year and we took a little nap just to look good before getting dressed.”

The fashion designer pointed out that Jocelyn's diagnosis of phlebitis, which causes inflammation of the veins in her legs, caused the pulmonary embolism that ultimately killed her.

“Because of his phlebitis, the legs were very, very swollen, the blood was blocked and there was no oxygen to the brain,” he told the outlet. “When I woke up, I said, 'Jocelyn, we need to wake up, we need to get dressed,' and she was cold and she was dead.”
