Source reveals Bravo torn between reboot or bringing back original cast after 'RHONJ' hiatus!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey chaos reigns, and the franchise is stuck indefinitely after the explosive drama of season 14, which has left the cast and producers searching for answers. While the division between Team Teresa Giudice and the Team Melissa Gorga seemingly put the series on hold, insiders suggest the complications run deeper than the ongoing family feud.
According to a source close to the production, Well done originally planned to remake the show with an entirely new cast. “When Season 14 ended, Bravo decided to take the show in a new direction,” says the source. Okay!
“They even offered a group of younger women spots on the show to breathe new life into the franchise.” However, those plans were put on hold due to uncertainty about how fans would react.
The delay is reportedly due to mixed reactions to the recent reboot The Real Housewives of New York. “The RHONY reboot fans were not as strong as Well done hoped,” the insider explains.
“They are worried about organizing similar gambling RHONJ“. Plus, fan reaction to the reworking plans Vanderpump Rules with a new one SURVER has added Well done detention.
As a result, veterans and potential newcomers alike find themselves in limbo. “Well done ultimately weren't sure what direction they wanted to take the show, so they put everyone on hiatus,” reveals the source.
The source also says, “there are no plans to film anything RHONJ at least until December 2025. The indecision has left viewers wondering about what The Real Housewives of New Jersey will look when it finally returns.
“The old cast could return in some capacity, or it could be completely new,” says the insider.
“No decisions have really been made.” For now, fans are left with a big question mark waiting to see if Well done choose to stick with their veteran stars or introduce a new set of Housewives.
