While other structures, including the Palisades Theater, caught fire in the fire, the Getty Museum, located near the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, east of the Pacific Palisades, was grateful to point out that its building was sure.
“At the Getty Villa, some trees and vegetation on site burned,” the museum explained on Twitter. X (formerly Twitter), “but no structures are on fire, and staff and collection remain safe.”
