“I did all the negatives, so we're going to dig into the positives,” she said in hers TikTok video. “First things first, my beautiful baby boy was born. I know a lot of people are like, when you have a baby, it's supposed to be the best year. For a lot of moms, the postpartum years are usually the worst years, and everyone's just a different experience, as a mom just going through a lot of hormonal changes, depression and it's more about mental health.
She went on to talk about her son, who she said has been “such a blessing” in her life, before moving on to another “huge achievement” from 2024.

Taylor Frankie Paul also shared a GRWM video about the worst parts of 2024
Days before her video highlighting some of the positives from the past year, Paula shared a video talking about the “worst” parts of her year.
“I want to say that this was even worse than my 2022, which is saying a lot,” she said. “Having said that, I'm having trouble deciphering which one it was. And I'm only saying that because it opened up amazing opportunities for me.”
She said she wasn't going to “go into the details of why this was one of the worst years” because viewers will see “everything settles down here this year.”
“It was a year of a lot of unpacking of all these things that needed to happen for real change to happen,” she continued. “And I'm not really one to blame people for my life. I'm aware of what was my part and what I could have done differently. What lessons can I learn from this experience?”

“A year with many changes”
Paul went on to share the video, noting that throughout her 2024 there were both “good things” and “very hard things.”
“Like, earlier this year, I'm so disconnected. We see it on the show, I'm not there. I can't even watch the show because it's so hard to watch,” she shared. “And then I finally wanted to start feeling again, so with that you have to start feeling a lot of pain and letting things go.”
She said 2022 “was experienced”, 2023 “was lost” and 2024 she “let the pain inside”. She said she immediately released the pain that had her “on the bathroom floor, screaming, crying on the phone, intensive care.”
“I'm asking God, saying you need to help me. And please remember, this is not about me complaining about life's problems. It's all about mental health,” she continued. “And it doesn't matter what external things you have in life, because it will never make you happy if you are not happy inside.”
