“We all did a lot of work,” said the 32-year-old, who is also mother of Jayde9, and Nonconformist8 years old, with husband Taylor McKinney-told E! News in June. “We honestly worked on ourselves. So, naturally, everything falls into place.”
And although Maci noticed that his relationships with the entire blended family improved after his sobriety journey — which began after an overdose in April 2023 — she was most proud to see him focusing on himself.
“I think the most important thing is his relationship with himself,” she continued. “I feel like he's done the job, he's still doing the job. And it's really cool to see. I'm really proud of them.”
