The authorities in Las Vegas are investigating a deadly incident on the city's famous Strip.
The January 1 event, which left one person dead and seven lightly injured, involved the explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck and occurred in front of the building's entrance. Trump International Hotelaccording to the authorities.
“We were told that a 2024 Cybertruck stopped in front of the hotel and, in fact, I can tell you that it pulled up to the glass front doors of the hotel,” said Clark County/Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Sheriff. Kevin McMahill told reporters. “We saw smoke coming out of the vehicle and then there was an explosion from the truck.”

Although the motive has not been determined, law enforcement considered the explosion to be intentional and is investigating the incident as a possible terrorist attack, according to NBC News.
