“I'll just leave you HERE… 🌹+🌹 😊,” Sandra, 76, wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 17, sharing her first date with Charles, 62.
The reality stars met while visiting Joan VassosAn episode of Men Tell All that aired in November 2024. Sandra knew Joan since they were both contestants in Season 1. The Golden Bachelor.

Sandra Mason had a great date with Gary Levingston on the Golden Bachelorette finale. “What a great show!!!! While Sandra and Charles I didn't find love on TVthey bonded while on Men Tell All, and Charles later slipped into Sandra's DMs. It happened only in the new year when the couple went on a proper date while Sandra was in Los Angeles on vacation. (Sandra is from Georgia.)

Charles, who hails from California, praised Sandra for her “elegant charm and directness”. He raved about her being “classy”, “fun” and “funny”.
The two enjoyed a night out in Pasadena on their first date while dining in Houston, which was documented in Sandra's Instagram post.
“I came home around 3 in the morning! Shouldn't seniors be out after 10pm? Charles teased. “I told Sandra that the last time I came home this late was when I was in college. We had dinner and had a great conversation. “
The portfolio manager said the dinner date was their “moment.”

Sandra fully agreed with Charles' assessment of the evening. “We had a phenomenal conversation getting to know each other after dinner,” she told the outlet. “We talked about our future, kids, what we want in a relationship, the show and more.”
She called Charles the “ultimate gentleman” and a “treasure.” Sandra added: “Charles is chess, not checkers. It is so true. He is so warm. A lot of men can seem like that and throw off the charm, but he's not like that, that's really who he is.
Sandra Mason made the difficult decision to skip her daughter's wedding day on The Golden Bachelor, and she doesn't regret it. “My son-in-law said to me, 'Mom, the ceremony is eight minutes. Although the pair have been on speaking terms since their date, they are unsure what will happen next as Charles is set to move to South Africa for a few years to work.
