The Lower Decks Cast is reuniting for one of the funniest shows on TV

We're still not done The end of Star Trek: Lower Decks, and frankly, we probably never will be. Every Star Trek fan loves Lower Decks. Well, at least all of us here at /Film do — I can't speak for any of the controversial weirdos who hate fun or are somehow allergic to animation. Fans have become extremely attached to the actors and their voices now rattle in the dark recesses of our brains. Whenever I re-watch Craig of the Creek (another show ending too soon), I feel my heart break a little every time Noel Wells' voice when Kelsey sneaks in resembles her “Lower Decks” character Ensign D'Vana Tendi. I'm just not ready to admit that it's really over.

Thankfully, it's not like all of these beloved performers are being launched from an airlock and forced to whirl around in space from now until eternity, and we'll see them all again, albeit in different projects. For example, Jack Quaid, who voices Brad Boimler, has yet to film the final season of The Boys, as well as the countless genre films in which he appears, such as the upcoming “Companion”. But the best news is four of the voice cast, Noel Wells (D'Vana Tendi), Tawny Newsom (Beckett Mariner), Eugene Cordero (Sam Rutherford) and Jillian Wigman (Commander T'Ana, MD). everyone reunites for the season finale of “Dirty Laundry,” a multifaceted guessing game on Dropout.

This is a must-see for Lower Decks fans who are also not ready to say goodbye to the latter, and for anyone who wants to know more about their favorite voice recording artists than they ever could have imagined.

“Dirty Laundry” was originally an episode of Game Changer, one of the flagship programs on the streaming platform Dropout. It's basically an elevated version of the Never Have I Ever drinking game, where host Lily Du reads a secret submitted by one of the players and the group has to figure out who owns the secret while the person in charge. for secrecy avoids suspicion. Whoever is behind this secret must reveal themselves while sipping their cocktail (or cocktails) served by bartender Grant O'Brien and tell the story.

Sometimes the secrets are silly, like comedian, actress and writer Amy Vorpal admits to somehow dating three different musicians; other times it's a horrible discovery, like Dropout's director of development Paul Robalino admits he was once mistaken for Uber. and still led a stranger home (which was also covered by This American Life), or when comedian Ryan Cramer peed on a date because he didn't want to seem weird for going to the bathroom too often.

That's all we have have no idea what maddening secrets the “Lower Decks” crew will uncover, and it's in the interest of “Star Trek” fans to tune in. The season finale of “Dirty Laundry” premieres on the streaming platform Dropout, or Dropout.tv if you use a browser, on January 14 at 4pm PST/7pm EST.
