Grande later re-shared the image on her Instagram Stories, giving fans an intimate glimpse into their big day.

Ahead of her first Oscar nomination, Grande reflected on how her role as Glinda in Wicked has left a lasting impression — not just on her acting, but on her sense of self. Even after the film is finished, Grande remains deeply connected to the world of Oz.

“People probably underestimate how long it took us to find these women and get lost in them,” Grande said. “Lifting my head between sobs to say a big thank you to @theacademy for this unfathomable recognition,” she wrote. “I can't stop crying, to no one's surprise.”

She described the nomination as “humbled and deeply honoured” and praised her co-stars as “excellent actors”.

The singer singled out her co-star Cynthia Erivo, who received a nomination for best actress in a leading role. “I am so proud of my Elfie, my sister, my precious @cynthiaerivo. Your brilliance is endless and you deserve every flower (tulip) in every garden. I love you unconditionally, always,” Grande added.

She ended her emotional post with a playful nod to the musical, writing: 'lemons, melons and pears, oh my!'
