Tim Allen's Home Improvement is coming to Netflix in 2025

What time is it? It's time for tools! That's because the classic sitcom Home Improvement is coming to Netflix very soon. The ABC television series that ran for eight seasons in the 1990s and made Tim Allen a star will debut on the streaming service in February. So tune in for some nostalgic viewing, with just over 200 episodes featuring the Taylor family coming your way soon.

Home Improvement will be available in its entirety on Netflix starting February 1, 2025 in the United States. The show was a ratings monster in its day and was very popular for years thanks to syndication reruns. It made a huge star out of Allen, who was previously best known as a stand-up comic. It also created a teenage superstar Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who later completely disappeared from Hollywood. But the show was so successful that it put virtually its entire cast on the Hollywood A-list for a while.

The series centers on Tim “The Toolman” Taylor, host of the hugely popular home improvement show Tool Time, which he co-hosts with his friend Al (Richard Carne). Meanwhile, Tim and his wife Jill are raising three boys, taking them through various dilemmas and personal dramas. The series also starred Patricia Richardson, Zachary Taya Bryan, Taran Noah Smith and Pamela Anderson before she became a superstar.

This will likely serve as a major 90s nostalgia boost for many viewers. For what it's worth, the show has been available on DVD and streaming at various points, as well as being available on Disney+ overseas for a while. All this is related to another popular show “Grey's Anatomy”.
