Pink and Carrie Hart have found the secret to making their relationship work no matter the circumstances.
A double met in 2001 at the Summer X Games in Philadelphia. After reconciling after a brief split in 2003, Pink proposed to Hart in 2005 while the motocross rider competed in the Pro 250 class finals in Mammoth, California. They tied the knot in Costa Rica in 2006.
The “Just Give Me a Reason” singer revealed in 2008 that the couple had called it quits after two years of marriage. Their breakup inspired her songs “So What,” “Mean,” “I Don't Believe You” and “Please Don't Leave Me,” all of which appeared on her song. Funhouse album in the same year.
A duo after all found their way back to each otheras in Rose confirmed his reconciliation in February 2010. Almost eight years later, she discovered their rocky past commemorating its 12th anniversary via Instagram. “We've been married for 12 years today. 16 if you count the 4 years we spent deciding if we were going to live together forever or kill each other,” she captioned a collection of pictures of the couple over the years in January 2018. “It's been a nice combination since. Pink and Hart are now parents daughter Willow, born in 2011, and son Jameson, born in 2016.
The Grammy winner previously revealed how becoming a parent with Hart has “completely changed” her for the better. “I'm a lot more open. I'm a lot more self-accepting. I'm a lot more thoughtful,” she said Carson Daly switched on Today 2019. “I plan more. I have to do it. I have to figure out the balance.”
She added: “I think more about the world and what we're leaving for these kids and the direction we're going, so I think that changes your music, but I don't write songs for my kids because I think the best have already been written.
