Tom Brady says last year didn't go exactly the way he wanted it to

Tom Brady recently reflected on the past year, when he celebrated the New Year with his children, admitting that 2024 did not go as planned.

Despite the setbacks, the former NFL star focused on the positives, expressing gratitude for everything and everyone who “influenced me along the way.”

His statements come between his ex-wife Gisele Bundchenpregnancy for her boyfriend Joaquim Valente.

Insiders claim that Tom Brady has been having a hard time so far since finding out the supermodel is pregnant.

Brady reflected on 2024 on his Instagram account, admitting that the year didn't go the way he wanted it to.

In several pictures he shared along with his note, Brady can be seen ringing in 2025 with his kids. Brady shares 17-year-old son Jack with ex-partner Bridget Moynahan, as well as son Benjamin and daughter Vivian with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.

“I couldn't think of a better way to ring in the new year than with the loves of my life,” the soccer star told his 15.1 million followers. “Reflecting on last year and thinking about next year, there's no better perspective than looking at these three and trying to be better for them every day and help push them to the best of their ability.”

He added that he is “so grateful for the experiences, blessings, family, friends and everyone else who has influenced me along the way” and that he is “blessed to have joy and gratitude in my life.”

“No year goes exactly how we want, but when I think about 2024, I couldn't think of anything better,” Brady explained. “So many new experiences that I got to share with amazing people, especially the three beautiful angels in these photos.”

He then concluded his lengthy note by wishing his followers a “happy, healthy 2025” and quoting one of his famous mantras: “The best is yet to come.”

The seven-time Super Bowl winner was all smiles as he posed for pictures with his three children. In an instant, he flashed a cheerful smile as he stood beside them with his arms around his youngest daughter.

Another photo shows the retired NFL legend in a golf cart with Vivian smiling for the camera. He also made sure to upload the beautiful golf course bordered by palm trees and colorful skies during sunset.

The photo carousel also featured a picture of Vivian making a heart shape with her hand while standing in a pool at a tropical destination.

The vacation certainly allowed Brady to spend some quality time with his kids, especially after he showed off his ripped body while playing golf with Jack, which he said was “the perfect way to end the year.”

The photos of the former athlete come just one month after the source told Daily mail that Brady has been struggling ever since he found out that his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen is pregnant with her boyfriend Joaquim Valente.

“Tom would love to meet more, but he's busy and very focused on his first year as a commentator. It's easier to be alone right now,” the source shared.

They continued, “In the beginning, everything sucks. She gets pregnant, she talks to Joaquim, she moves on. But then he snaps out of it and stays busy, knows his life is pretty good, and worries about the things he can.” t control is a waste of time.”

According to Sixth pagethe source said he knew Bundchen and her jiu-jitsu trainer boyfriend were getting serious, but he “never imagined” she would get pregnant and have a child with him.

“Tom knew that things were serious between Gisele and Joaquin, but he never imagined that they would have a child together,” the source revealed in an interview with the news agency. “It just wasn't on his radar. So when Gisele broke the news to him, he was stunned to say the least.”

“At the end of the day, Tom is only focused on his kids and his career. What Gisele decides to do with her life is really none of his business,” the source added.

Bündchen is reportedly several months pregnant and is due early this year.

A source previously told Daily mail that Brady was ready to welcome Bundchen's child into her blended family, much like she welcomed his older son Jack.

The insider went on to say that he is going to accept that Valente will now be a part of his life, especially since Benjamin and Vivian have become closer over time.

“The day they started dating, she accepted and loved his son, which he already had, so he will give the same respect to her future child,” the source said. “At the end of the day, everyone is still family.”
