Tom Felton has one condition to work with Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe again

In the Harry Potter films, the binary of “good” and “evil” is illustrated quite well by Harry himself, played by Daniel Radcliffe, and his lifelong enemy Lord Voldemort (played by Ralph Fiennes after regaining his physical form in the fourth part “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”). However Harry has a lot of lesser villains to deal withand one is his school nemesis Draco Malfoy, portrayed by Tom Felton in all eight films of the franchise. So, would Felton and Radcliffe work together again? According to Felton, they've chatted about it a bit, but if the two ever team up for another project, there would be some changes.

In an interview with Digital spy In May 2022, Felton was asked about a possible reunion with one of his “Harry Potter” co-stars, and he said he would jump at the chance to work with Radcliffe. “We're all about redoing something in different ways,” Felton said. “Daniel and I have often joked that when we work together again, he'll be the villain and I'll be the hero.”

By the time the sixth Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie is released, Draco is in a pretty dire situation and his dad can't help him; Now that Voldemort is fully back in power, Lucius is out with the Dark Lord (mainly because he's sent to Azkaban after the fifth Order of the Phoenix movie), so Voldemort decides that Draco must be the one to assassinate Albus Dumbledore, the kind but powerful headmaster of Hogwarts, who may kill Draco in the process.

Draco doesn't have to be killed by Dumbledore himself – his “fellow” Death Eater and de facto double agent Severus Snape, played by the late Alan Rickman, does so instead. — but it becomes extremely clear that Draco might be a twerp, but he doesn't appear to be a killer. After Voldemort's defeat at the Battle of Hogwarts, the Malfoy family fades into the background, not choosing sides, sticking together and escaping the battle.

It would be really great to see Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton completely reverse their “Harry Potter” dynamic, but the biggest issue seems to be whether these two busy performers will be able to find the time. The same year that “Harry Potter” ended, Felton appeared in “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” as Dodge Landon, and then moved on to smaller projects such as 2012's “The Apparition” and 2013's historical drama “Belle.” Felton continued to work steadily in film until he booked a fairly significant role opposite Daisy Ridley in the 2018 Shakespeare adaptation Ophelia, playing Laertes, and his television credits include Julian Albert aka “Alchemy” on The Flash and Logan Mayne. “Origin.”

Felton is pretty busy, but Radcliffe is even busier.
