Travis Kelce is the biggest Swiftie in Kansas City — and he is not afraid to tell the world.
Speaking to reporters after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Houston Texans in the divisional playoffsKelce, 35, was asked if he feels 10 years younger after his remarkable performance on the court.
“Twenty-two, baby,” Kelce replied on Saturday, Jan. 18, referring to her girlfriend. Taylor Swifts Red song of the same name.
Kelce – who scored a touchdown in the game — provided further insight into his post-game mindset when speaking with Audacy 96.5 Fan.
“It was good that it finally happened,” he added. “Man, there's nothing better than playoff football, especially here at Arrowhead (Stadium). The crowd is always electric, but the feeling you get playing with these guys who work all year (is) the most rewarding feeling when you get to the front.
A win on Saturday moves the Chiefs to the AFC Championship against the Baltimore Ravens or Buffalo Bills. The titleholder will then represent the conference in the 2025 Super Bowl as the NFC champion. (The Washington Cardinals will face either the Los Angeles Rams or the Philadelphia Eagles in NFC play.)
If the bosses succeed and win Super Bowlthey will become the first NFL team to earn three consecutive Lombardi Trophies. On the other hand, Kelce is not thinking too far into the future.
“I'm focused on the next (game),” Kelce, himself a three-time Super Bowl winner, told reporters. “You don't get here and get all these championships (by focusing on it). You get here by having the right mentality and being present.
Kelce's entire family was present at Saturday's game, including girlfriend Swift, 35. The pop star stunned in head-to-toe Chanel, sitting in a private box with parents, younger brother, Kelce people and WNBA star Caitlin Clarke. The rest of the crew all wore Chiefs branded gear.
Swift and Kelce have been together since 2023, shortly before she started attending his Chiefs games.
“Taylor and I are happy and I couldn't be happier with that confidence and comfort off the court and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium,” Kelce said on the Wednesday, Jan. 15, episode. The Stephen A. Smith Show. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering me on, so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing those dreams.”
The tight end showed up days earlier to Even the McAfee Showstating that they feel “fired up” about the playoffs.
“I feel 22 again baby,” he quipped at the time, again referencing Swift's song of the same name. “Let's go!”
