What happened between Kate Beckinsale and Matt Riff at the Golden Globes?

Beckinsale and Rife dated for a year after connection in 2017. After their breakup, the actress sparked a romance Pete Davidson in 2019. At the time, Riff made headlines for telling Davidson, 31, that he had to 'run' and described his relationship with Beckinsale as 'complicated'.
