Where Brody Jenner Stands With Caitlyn Jenner After Being 'Dumped'

Brody Jenner And Caitlyn Jenner have had their ups and downs, but they are better now.

THE Hills one alum shared insight into his relationship with his father — who transitioned in 2015 — and recalled feeling disconnected from the former Olympian growing up.

“I would see him randomly – 'him' at the time – you know, here and there,” Brody – whose mother, Linda Thompsonseparated from Caitlyn when he was a child in 1986—shared on Special Forces: the toughest test in the world January 15. “But mom used to tell me I'd write on cards: 'Why doesn't dad call me on my birthday?'”

The 41-year-old said Caitlyn's new marriage to Kris Jenner-who was already the mother of Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian And Rob Kardashian-and commitment to film Keeping Up With the Kardashians he felt “a little abandoned” by his father.

“I had an incredible mother. My father, Bruce, at the time, wasn't around much,” Brody explained. “They separated, and then he met a woman. She also had children. The woman he met…they had children together.”
