We love the smell of violent racists being arrested in the morning.

According to Grandstand of the starsA 35-year-old white man named Justin A. Kudla of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, faces federal hate crime charges by the United States Attorney's Office. On February 3, 2024, Kudla was described as “drunk and beyond” by a woman who worked at Huck's Shipwreck Saloon who said she also heard Kudla call Benjamin Morelock, 37, a gay black man, a racial slur before hit. to the head and knocked him out for 20 minutes. Two days after the incident, another Huck employee went to visit Morelock and found him in bed, moving in and out of consciousness. Morelock was quickly taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

Kudla was federally indicted on one count of interfering with federally protected activities and one count of hate crime and charged by Scott County with assault on the first degree. According to the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Public Affairs, Kudla faces 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted. The sentence imposed upon conviction in the Scott County case is unknown.

What we do know is that this white POS should be imprisoned for every second, minute and hour of this potential 10 year sentence. He would also have to work the rest of his life to pay restitution to Benjamin Morelock.

Morelock is in desperate need of financial resources to help pay his medical bills as a result of this “alleged” racist attack. Danielle Pilacinski, the Huck employee who took Morelock to the hospital, set up a GoFundMe campaign. Please donate if you are able.

Here is the statement she posted on the page:

My name is Danielle Pilacinski. I took Ben to the emergency room Sunday afternoon after finding him with a life-threatening brain injury. He was transferred to the Rochester Neuro ICU where he remained stable. We take it an hour at a time, waiting for the swelling to go down to see what we are dealing with under the brain bleed, clot and swelling. I'm making this fund me for Ben's medical bills and other bills that will arise while he heals and is unable to work. I know Ben is so loved by many people! Let's come together and help him get back on his feet! -lots of love and prayers, Danielle

Thoughts and prayers for Benjamin Morelock.
