THE Wicked The star recently shared that at a difficult point in her career, she considered quitting acting, at least until Quentin Tarantino intervened.
“I was in Hong Kong and I was depressed because I had a bad accident while filming a stunt,” Michelle, 62, explained during a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Showby People. “I felt hopeless and I was rethinking the whole action and thought maybe I should take a step back.”
It is then that the Everything everywhere at the same time The star crossed paths with Quentin, who encouraged her to continue.
“When I met (Tarantino), he was very enthusiastic,” she added, “and said if you love something, you have to find a better way to do it.”
Michelle also shared this, as she and the pulp Fiction director having never worked together, Quentin hilariously revealed why he didn't cast the Oscar winner in one of his biggest films.
“When I asked him questions Kill Bill and why he hadn't thought of me,” Michelle explained, “he said, 'No one would believe Uma Thurman I could kick your ass!'
