Why executives won't be here this weekend during the NFL playoffs

The first round of the NFL postseason begins this weekend with Wild Card playoffs in both the AFC and NFC conferences, but Super Bowl the champions will not play the game.

The Kansas City Chiefs won the No. 1 seed in the AFC their 2024 Christmas win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Later this month, the Chiefs will play one of the Wild Card games in the divisional playoff round. The division winners ultimately battle it out for the conference championship, which of course determines the NFC and AFC teams that will play in the 2025 Super Bowl.

Super Bowl LIX will be held in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, and the Chiefs are hoping to make history and win a third Lombardi trophy in a row.
