Hollywood superstar Will Smith is stirring the pot with an Instagram post teasing a potential Matrix movie soon.
In 1997, Will Smith was faced with a mammoth decision: choosing between a starring role in Wild Wild West And The matrix. Will then chose the Western life, then delivered some incredible melodies for the film and seemed happy with his decision. Keanu Reeves later played the role of Neo in The matrixand it all worked for him too.
However, what if Will could go back in time and enter The matrix and see what life would have been like playing in the franchise? In a cryptic Instagram post, Will seemingly hints that he will soon go back in time and finally see what Neo has to say. In the teaser, the Matrix system seeks Smith's attention and he must respond.
The only downside to the video is that it leaves more questions than answers. First of all, what will Keanu's role be in whatever is being teased? Reeves has the Sonic And John Wick franchises to occupy your time, but with Will Smith could try it.
Hollywood insiders quickly took to social media to placate fans and pretend it was just a commercial for Super Bowl LIX. Until something is confirmed, we can continue to wish Will would star in a feature film reboot, because why not? If Hollywood wants to continue releasing remakes, why not cast the actors they originally wanted?
If this is a Super Bowl spot, it will at least be a little over a month before we get confirmation and can put the speculation to rest.
