William and Kate prepare for King Charles' death: report

Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly took steps to prepare for King Charles' death.

Charles was diagnosed with cancer in 2024 and the details of his condition remain unclear.

Insiders claimed the monarch was suffering from pancreatic cancer, which has one of the highest mortality rates of any form of the disease.

This news has not been confirmed by Buckingham Palace.

The king's trip to Australia in late 2024 briefly boosted hopes of a full recovery. But the lack of official updates is troubling.

And the latest reports indicate that to prepare for all eventualities, William and Kate are preparing to take over as king and queen at short notice.

Kate and William would be ready to succeed Charles

“It's not something people really talk about very openly. But everyone is aware that Charles’ health is deteriorating,” said the source close to the matter. In touch.

“The last thing Kate and William want to do is argue for Charles' abdication. They want him to continue as long as he physically wants,” the source adds.

“But there is this horrible reality that he is not getting any younger, and his condition means the time to intervene will be sooner rather than later in the years to come.”

Charles is 75 years old, and Will and Kate would likely be preparing for the challenges of the throne even if he weren't battling cancer.

But preparations are even more urgent due to the king's health problems.

Charles' illness creates an atmosphere of urgency

“The reality is that they need to prepare for this eventuality and prepare to deal with it, both mentally and in practice,” the source explains.

“They will be wonderful monarchs. William has been preparing all his life, but Kate has proven herself just as capable,” adds the palace source.

Clearly, the timing is less than ideal, as Kate has also battled cancer recently.

But the source says she and William are well prepared to take on monarchical duties.

It was recently revealed that Kate was in remission from the disease and she has made numerous public appearances in recent months.

William and Kate prepare for the throne

“Charles is so happy that William has chosen such a wonderful partner and future queen. This is a big concern for him because he knows the monarchy will be in good hands,” the insider said.

“This is increasingly becoming a major concern. And Charles couldn't be happier to know that his legacy will eventually be taken over by them.

In October last year, Charles recently took a break from treatment for an official state visit to Australia.

A second source described the trip as “just another example of the extraordinary work ethic he received from his mother.”

We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.
