You spend time in the studio again thanks to his daughter, Northwest! Late Monday night, the multi-creative formally known as Kanye West confirmed that Northy is still working on an album!
The 11 year old unveiled his debut project for the first time March 2024, but we haven't heard a taste of her music yet. Ye has now sparked new excitement for his daughter's music after he shared how involved he has been in her musical process!
You say Northwest inspired him THAT way
As mentioned, Ye took to Instagram with behind-the-scenes shots of North West in the studio. As of Tuesday morning, the rapper only had six tracks on his feed. The second entry is video shows North playing the clip. In the caption he wrote: “Training”. Meanwhile, Ye's third post shows his daughter and someone else walking through what looks like a minimally furnished warehouse. The inscription read: “CONTINUITY 2.0.”
Meanwhile, the fifth post was flooded with reactions — we're talking over 10,000 comments and over 1.3 million likes. It was a black and white photo of North West sitting in a chair. The caption was about being a proud dad.
“This little girl made me fall in love with music again. 🥲 She asked me to make strokes for her. I returned to ASR. Chopped up beats for her album and every beat was shredded with bare hands by BULLY.
Pro-athlete Victor Cruz dropped brown hearts in the comments section of the post, while Swizz Beatz and Marlo Hampton shared red hearts. Bad Girls superstar Tanisha Thomas wrote “Daddy's Girl.” However, Kanye West's fans got a little more vocal with their excitement!
@torres.zxs wrote, “Imagine asking your dad to give you some punches and your dad being you, dammit.”
“In this case, my dad did all the punching” is the ultimate flexibility. @nessie_blaze said.
“She really is your biggest fan bro,” @emery.kh wrote.
“Her father is a genius, she can do no wrong,” @gigipagava said.
One fan, @happyhatta, wondered what kind of music would involve “dropping out of elementary school,” writing, “Wait…shredded beats? You think there's no more opium music? WE MIGHT BE BACK.”
What do you think, rooms?
