See how Penn Badgley gets to work? Very wise. Very cute.
Joe Goldberg is back and he's taking one last look at: you.
Netflix released the trailer for the fifth and final season of You-aired April 24 – and it's as terrifying as you'd expect. In the preview, Joe (Penn Badgley) takes a haunting journey into the past, as he travels through New York, where it all began.
“Hello, you. Do you remember me? Because I remember you,” his infamous narration begins. “Here we are together again, back where it all began. »
As the bell above Mooney's bookstore rings, Joe descends the stairs as clips from previous seasons and memories of his former victims play. As he notes: “A lot has happened together in our many years together. Identities, cities, loves. Complications.”
Finally, when he stops in front of the box that contained his victims, Joe has one final warning.
“But they all led me here, until now. Where I was always meant to be,” he says. “And one constant, the one thing that has always been there for me, is you. You who have been there all the time and who will be there with me until the end.
