Yvette Nicole Brown takes Khloe Kardashian to task.
Although Kim Kardashian's tone-deaf response to the Los Angeles wildfires isn't going over well, she's not the only family member who's in hot water — so to speak.
You see, Khloe decided the time had come to take aim at the mayor of Los Angeles. Odd timing for that, especially from a member of a family who in fact, he endorsed Rick Caruso.
Yvette points out that Khloe may be the last person to talk about this specific topic. It's not even about politics.
How did Khloe Kardashian anger Yvette Nicole Brown?
On Friday, January 10, Khloe Kardashian angered Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. Instagramcalling her a “joke”.
To Khloe's credit, she praised Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley.
Previously, Crowley alleged that Bass requested LAFD budget cuts before the fires.
It is entirely possible (even probable) that several political and municipal safeguards have failed.
Although these devastating wildfires are a direct result of years of uncontrolled climate change, there are ways to mitigate some fire risks.
We are sure there will be reproaches in the years to come. It seems unlikely that much of this effort will be productive, but some might be.
Here's What Yvette Nicole Brown Had to Say to Khloe Kardashian
Sharing a screenshot of a headline describing the Kardashians among the 'worst water wasters', Yvette's Instagram the post included a caption in his own words.
“This is from 2022, when Los Angeles was in a drought,” her caption reads.
“Every citizen was asked to conserve for the good of all. You know, because of the fires? » continued Yvette. “This is how some citizens responded to the request.”
“Is this a joke @khloekardashian? » then asked Yvette Nicole Brown.
The article itself claimed the Kardashians used 330,000 gallons beyond county lines (rather than just in total) during the month of June.
For reference, your average 20-minute shower probably uses about 50 gallons of water. This means that, ignoring the water level below the limit, the Kardashian family allegedly used approximately 6,600 showers of water in the month of June 2022 alone.
Is there anything else to say in this story?
It should be noted that the original LA Times report (remember when this diary was good?) didn't actually name Khloe. The article singled out Kim and Kourtney for allegedly using unfathomable amounts of water.
Moreover, even the gluttonous waste of water discussed in this report could not cause wildfires or deprive the City and County of Los Angeles of the ability to fight them. Outside of the Resnick family, pointing the finger at individuals or families is probably wrong.
This is a massive systemic problem that extends far beyond Los Angeles. Our thoughts are with the millions of people affected directly and indirectly by these wildfires.
