Winning a Golden Globe is no easy feat. On Sunday, Saldana joined the list of actors and actresses with a gold plaque in their office and couldn't hide her joy afterward.
A day after her first Golden Globe win, Saldana celebrated with her fans on Instagram.
She shared two pictures of herself enjoying the beautiful moment. In the first moment, a smiling Saldana was in bed, looking down with a gold plaque beside her.
In the second photo, a vivacious Saldana looked surprised and opened her mouth in delight while still lying in bed.

Saldana's post sparked a wave of congratulatory comments from her friends and fans.
Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez applauded Saldana and commented, “Congratulations Zoe.”

Zoe Saldana's emotional acceptance speech
Saldana won her first Golden Globe for her outstanding portrayal of Rita Mora Castro in the musical thriller “Emilia Perez”.
She beat other candidates including her actress Selena Gomez“Wicked” actress Ariana Grande, “The Brutalist” star Felicity Jones, “The Substance” actress Margaret Qualey and “Conclave” actress Isabella Rossellini to receive the award.
After Saldana was announced as the winner, she took the stage and gave a tearful speech in which she thanked her costars, other nominees and family.
“This is my first time,” the actress noted before acknowledging her fellow cast members and nominees. She also said she was “blessed to share this moment” with them.
Saldana told the audience that she was “full of adrenaline” while her heart was “full of gratitude.”

She added: “Here's my family, my mom, my sister, my husband and my sons. I love you, I love you. You guys are everything.”
The 46-year-old, who was nominated for the Golden Globes for the first time, also thanked “Emilia Perez” director Jacques Audiard for “trusting” her to “play Rita.”

The cast of “Emilia Perez” formed a strong bond during filming that continued after the film's premiere.
While chatting with People On September 30, 2024, Zoe Saldana shared details about their close relationship.
She said: “It's amazing. There's so much love, so much respect to this day. We're rooting for each other. We're happy for each other. We fix each other's makeup and wardrobes.”
Saldana revealed that the cast was excited to work on the project, that they were “kind of childish” while filming.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actress also shared that attending premieres together allowed the cast to “still have that joy because we knew we signed on for something special.”
She concluded: “We knew what it meant to us. And knowing that it becomes something special for so many people is impactful. It's really impactful. So I think it brings us all back together.”

“Emilia Perez” wins big at the Golden Globes
“Emilia Perez,” the Netflix crime original, was the most nominated film at the Golden Globes, winning four awards at the end of the night.
Along with Zoe Saldana's award for Best Supporting Actress, “Emilia Perez” won Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, Best Original Song and Best Foreign Language Film.
The film is about a Mexican cartel leader, played by Carla Sofía Gascon, who enlists a lawyer (Saldana) to help her disappear so she can pursue her dream of becoming a woman.
